Savannah Summer Bucket List — Realtor Edition
Your guide to local favorites, hidden gems & summer vibes from a Savannah real estate pro
One of my favorite things about living and working in Savannah? Summer here is something special. From live music on shaded patios to breezy beach days and sweet iced coffee runs, there’s so much to soak in — whether you’re a longtime local or just settling into a new home.
As a real estate agent, I spend my days exploring neighborhoods, connecting with new faces, and discovering the spots that make each corner of this city feel like home. So today, I’m sharing my personal Savannah Summer Bucket List — a mix of community charm, local flavor, and can’t-miss experiences.
Whether you're house hunting or just here for the vibes, I hope this guide inspires you to fall in love with Savannah all over again.
1. Start the Day With a Cold Brew at Perc!
There’s something magical about grabbing a morning coffee downtown before the day gets too hot. I love stopping at Perc — it’s my go-to before showings or weekend open houses.
Local Tip: Order it to go and stroll through Forsyth Park or around the Starland District for a peaceful start to your day!
2. Sunset Walks + Golden Hour Photos down Jones Street
Savannah is full of dreamy spots that come alive at sunset. Wormsloe Historic Site, Skidaway Island State Park, or a quiet evening stroll down Jones Street - one of the most classic streets with beautiful row homes offer beautiful backdrops for reflection, photos, or catching up with a friend.
Realtor Tip: This is also a great time to scout neighborhoods when traffic is low and everyone’s out walking their dogs — you get a real feel for the vibe!
3. Catch Live Music at Starland Yard
Savannah’s local music scene is a summer treat. I love grabbing a bite and catching live music at Starland Yard or even at Foxy Loxy for their Bluegrass nights — especially on breezy nights when the lights are strung up and the community comes alive.
Client Tip: I always tell new buyers: the best way to meet your neighbors is to support local events!
4. Explore Home & Lifestyle Shops for Inspiration
Even if you’re not moving, summer is the perfect time for a little refresh. Some of my favorite spots to browse for home goods and gifts:
One Fish Two Fish (interior + coastal chic)
The Paris Market (always full of treasures)
Picker Joe’s (for vintage and antique lovers)
Design Tip: Even small updates like fresh linens or a new candle can breathe new life into your space.
5. Spend the Weekend Like a Local on Tybee Island
No summer bucket list is complete without a trip to the beach! Whether it's a full beach day or just a sunset walk along the pier, or a quiet evening on the back river Tybee Island never disappoints.
Packing Tip: Don’t forget bug spray and a chair with shade — and if you’re heading out after work, try North Beach or the back river for fewer crowds.
6. Take a Mid-Year Moment to Reflect & Reset
July is the halfway point of the year — and that makes it the perfect time to check in on your goals, your home needs, and your next steps. Whether that means planning a fall move, refreshing your current space, or simply dreaming big — I’m here if you want to talk things through.
Bonus Bucket List Item: Set aside one quiet morning this month to journal, realign, or map out your next move — home-related or otherwise.
Final Thoughts
Savannah is more than just a beautiful city — it’s a lifestyle. And summer is when its charm truly shines.
Whether you’re enjoying the season as a visitor, a longtime local, or a brand new homeowner, I hope this little bucket list helps you explore and connect with the community like never before.
